Researchers and doctoral, master’s and undergraduate students, together with guest researchers, work in over 41 research groups. Their eff­orts focus on generating knowledge and preparing graduate human resources in strategic areas. The budget required by the research groups to operate consists mainly of external resources obtained from public, national and foreign companies and institutions, and is complemented with the Institution’s resources known as seed funds.
